airport terminal resumed operations on Monday 21 December with a brand new track after the execution of an ambitious plan of improvement works and maintenance required an investment of 32 million pesos and close the terminal for two months.
The tasks included the complete resurfacing of the track (milling, crack sealing, asphalt placement, signage day), its enlargement from 40 to 45 meters (placement of base and sub base, asphalt paving, concrete paving on headers , profiling and compaction of margins), the repaving of commercial filming (milling, placement of asphalt, signage day), the adaptation of platform slabs, headboards and running tracks, the readjustment of perimeter fence and perimeter road.
We also carried out the installation of transformers, beacon track, shooting, platform.
The
Airport was opened on 8 February 2008, after a major comprehensive work which focused on building a new terminal which was allocated 10 million pesos. The renewed air station is capable of receiving more than 500,000 passengers and a total area of 3,250 square meters.
