From June 22 through July 18, 2010, the English Cowdray Park Polo
Club will host the British Polo Open Gold Cup. The tournament is
considered one of the three major contests in the world, and the best
players from the five continents will
participate in this event, as they
have done year after year.
In 2010, the news is that a team fully made by Argentine players will
be competing for the first time in the vast history of this traditional
sports event. Julio Ernesto Gutiérrez Conte, Lucas Criado, Martín Valent, and
Hilario Ulloa will make the novel team that will participate in this
22-goal in Handicap Championship.
Since 1910, Cowdray Park Polo Club is famous worldwide as the home of
British Polo. The club is situated in a captivating area featured by its
breathtaking natural views and its facilities outstand for their
